Connections '12

Connections is an opportunity to serve Hawaiian Falls Staff. Connections where local churches get to reach out, train, build character and offer, help, encouragement, spiritual services and advice to Hawaiian Falls Ambassadors. Each park has two Connections gatherings per week; typically Monday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. We also meet regularly with the executive staff and are often seen at the "water cooler" with refreshments, smiles and encouragement.

Connections is more than a hospitality program or EAC. We love people because Christ loved people and we want to serve for the same reason. Connections partners with Hawaiian Falls, EmployeeCare, over 35 local Churches and PureGroup to provide this high impact service.

Our program is designed to be largely relational but we also offer the following services for our HFalls Ambassadors:

weekly gatherings for training
mentoring and encouragement
large gatherings for staff and friend
end of year silent auction and party
executive staff training
pastoral counseling
hospital and jail visitation
weddings
funerals
crises management
prayer opportunities

We are in the people business. Since we are, we want to make every opportunity for growth and development possible to our entire staff. We also want to offer help at any time.

NEED HELP?: You can approach your leadership at anytime about situations that arise in your personal and/or professional life. If you need something more like coaching, advice for more sensitive issues, you can contact Rawd with the info below. You can also use our 24/7 emergency line if you need to reach someone after hours.
TRAINING: We also have several great training opportunities that you will get to take advantage of. Management Training gives our supervisors and managers a common dialogue and a metric on which to operate and create synergy in our work efforts. The Zigler Servant Leadership training is another way we want to grow all of our staff to be the best we can. Be sure to take advantage of these great learning and growing opportunities!
